6 month check-up

Parker had his 6 month check up last week! He weighed 14 pounds 10 ounces and was 25 1/2 long! He got his 6 month shots and did great. Nothing real exciting to report. He has his developmental screening on Thursday so we'll get to see if he's behind on anything. Personally, I think he'll do great.

Also, Melissa had her baby, Brady, last Monday. He's been in the NICU because he was 4 weeks early and had breathing issues. Melissa had gestational diabetes during her pregnancy, which can cause the baby to have immature lungs. He's had to be on CPAP to help him out. He's been there for a week now so they are hoping to get him to Peds within the next couple days, and then eventually take him home. It's been tough watching them go through having a baby in the NICU and watching Brady struggle during his first few days, but we know they will all do great! We are proud of our little preemies! My sister and I both hope to have longer pregnancies in the future!! Brady's favorite nurse was Parker's favorite nurse too!! We love you Nurse Rhonda!! The NICU team is amazing at Kadlec, although we hope we don't have to ever see them again!!
