Let's Catch Up!

We've been so busy with baseball, tball, trying to sell our house, and work- We've had zero down time. It's been pretty nuts around here, but such is life!

Both kids are just killing it in tball. I'm very proud. Callie is really enjoying the game and listens so well. She's a natural. Parker loves playing catcher and hitting of course! He does not enjoy hitting off the tee and can't wait to move up to coach pitch.

Cory and I have also decided to open our own screenprinting company, . Cory does most of the work right now, but I'm learning. Actually, we are all learning!

We've gone to a WSU game to cheer on Uncle Trek (and of course, Jason Monda!) Parker won "Fan of the Game" because he was cheering so loud. It was pretty cool to see him on the jumbotron!

I'm still trying to squeeze in workouts when possible, but I must say it's been very difficult. I'm running only 1-2 times per week, but I'm trying to be more active with gardening and yard work. Eating right has been hard too. We are running around town so much and getting home so late after games and practices, it's just been easier to hit a drive through. Bad habit, I know! Tball is nearing the end, so I think I will be able to get back on track!

Easter Week

Hope ya had a "Hoppy Easter"! HA HA HA, I'm HILARIOUS!

We kicked off our holiday week with heading to Pullman for WSU vs. Stanford game. We love Uncle Trek and all, but we were super excited to watch Mark Appel pitch. Ummm, he's awesome. Also, there were fireworks after the game..how cool, huh? We didn't win the game, but it was fun to catch a game under the lights.

On Saturday, we headed to a local school for an egg hunt. I thought the egg hunt was at 11- nope, it was at 10. My mama called me just in time for us to jump in the car and make it last minute. Thank goodness I live very close. There was a "golden ticket" inside an egg for each age group and Parker got it! He won this awesome basket filled with art supplies.

We then headed to Grams and Caw's for an egg hunt and BBQ. We were loving the warm weather!

Sunday morning the kids got up early and we looked for Easter baskets and had a big breakfast. Cory FINALLY had a day off, so he spent some much needed Daddy time with the kids while I went for a run. When I got back, we dyed eggs, ate, and hung out. A couple days before Easter, we had planted some jelly beans in the garden. On Easter we went out to find that lollipops grew!!

Later, the kids and I went for a bike ride so Cory could take a nap. We saw a crazy person on a scooter in an Easter bunny costume. It was awesome! He was too speedy for me to get a picture though. Callie was of course scared, so we had to leave right away. Before we did, Parker made us sit in the bleachers and watch him have an imaginary baseball game. We had to cheer "Go Jason Monda!" while he hit a "ham slam" (That's Parker's word for a Grand slam).

When we got back, we had out own little backyard egg hunt.

The day was nearly over and Grandma Lucy stopped by to take the kids to one more egg hunt at Cory's parents home. I cleaned up the day's messes and soon the kids were back home and it was time for bed. What a fun week!

March Catch Up

This month has been so fun! Well, minus Parker getting bronchitis and a sinus infection at the same time...Poor guy can't ever seem to fight off a cold like the rest of us. Anywhos, germs can't keep this family down! We've been living it up!

We've made it to a couple of WSU games. Uncle Trek has done so great and we are super proud of him. Go Cougs!

We tagged along with Caw and Grammie to Spokane. We did some shopping, eating, and swimming at the hotel. Or as Callie calls it, a "Showtell".

The fam had an awesome time at the Monster Trucks too! It was loud and dirty but that's how we roll. The kids were entertained and thought it was SO awesome. We'll be back next year, that's for sure!

With the nice weather brings out my running bug again! I have been running pretty regularly and feel really good! I'm not as fast as I was at the end of last summer, but that's okay. I'm really just running to keep my weight down, not to win any marathons! Although, I could totally win if I wanted too...yep, totally.

Cory has started coaching again and that's always fun. I love watching his players improve over the season and cheering them on. GO LIONS!
